  1. We decided to use this area as part of our filming as we thought that it linked into many of the films that we had studied. It was under construction at the time of filming and that enhances the urban feel of the film and the setting. It was very dark and films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels are predominantly set in dark areas of urban cities. There were many high-rise flats to again give the feeling that it is a very urban area, and there were many winding roads which was good for our film as it contains alot of walking shots through various roads. Also, as it was a council estate, the audience will instantly think of gangs and young single mothers, which we have incorporated into our film.
